Sue Carrington
Lively. Honest. Engaging. These are a few of the words clients have used to describe Sue Carrington's writing style.
Sue has over three decades of experience in business communications and a career that has spanned print, broadcast, and online media. She has written for an array of industries and for organizations of all sizes in the U.S. and Canada, from international leaders to individual entrepreneurs. Deliverables have been rendered in a variety of formats, from Web copy to marketing brochures, newsletters to speeches and books.

Sue has ghost-written three books: Destination Profit: Creating People-Profit Opportunities in Your Organization (Davies-Black Publishing, 2006), If You Surround Yourself With Dogs, You're Gonna Get Flees: A Hiring Manager's Guide to Interviews That Work (R2 Publishing, 2004), and Thoughtful Soccer: The Think-First Approach to Playing and Coaching (Reedswain Publishing, 2002). A fourth book, It's Your Life. It's Your Choice. Survive. . .or Thrive? (TurnAround Solutions), is in press.
Sue's communications background includes 12 years with the global health sciences group of Ernst & Young. There, she wrote, edited, and directed the production of a variety of print, Web, and video communications for an international audience of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and provider organizations. She served on the development team for E&Y's award-winning Web site and also created and taught an interactive course on the topic of writing well.
Before Ernst & Young, Sue served as senior editor for the Program for Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH), an international health organization. There she wrote and edited educational materials for use in Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Sue has served also as an editor with MCI Corporation, a leader in telecommunications; and the American Geophysical Union, an international scientific publishing company. Her breadth of communications experience has been complemented by positions as a public relations manager at Wild World (now Six Flags America) in Largo, Maryland, and as a news director and on-air personality at KRGI AM and FM radio in Grand Island, Nebraska.
Sue is an honors graduate of Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania.
